Operating standards
Operating standards must be in place to ensure that we maintain the classic design principles that reflect the history, character and quality of golf courses in Scotland.
The Association has a range of Operating Standards that every member should aim to adopt. The Standards are not intended to suppress genuine freedom of design, however for basic design quality to be maintained, the Association requires a fundamental range of principles to be adopted.
These standards form the basis of the Association being able to achieve its objective for Golf Course Architecture in Scotland.
All members of SAGCA must adhere to the highest professional standards.
