2005-2008
- 15 new greens re-modelled and USGA spec.
- New 8th hole.
- New fairway bunker at 9th and greenside at 13th.
Baberton GC embarked on a Greens' renovation programme in 2005. This was part of a planned larger development which included a new clubhouse. When the new clubhouse was delayed in 2008 the 4 greens (including putting green) that were planned to be renovated at the same time as the new clubhouse, were put on hold. The new clubhouse is likely to progress within the next 24 months and the remaining greens will be renovated then.
Greens 15 and 1 will be re-located and when completed the course routing will be altered to two loops of 9 holes with the new 18th hole being an extended version of the current 15th, the new 1st hole being the current 16th and the new 10th hole being a shorter version of the current 1st hole.
