Haggs Castle

Tuesday 4th December 2012

Kimber Golf were commissioned to complete a full appraisal for Haggs Castle Golf Club.  The appraisal is to serve as the blueprint for improvements to the course over the coming years. The club had received feedback that the course was becoming increasingly difficult to play and wanted playability to be at the fore of the report. By analysing the scoring over the last season particularly difficult holes were identified and targeted to prioritise the proposed work. The 80 page document set out a range of opportunities for the club to develop the course with a series of projects ranging from short term improvements such as adjustments to mowing lines, and tree management to more comprehensive long term changes to a few holes.
